News: ‘A Christmas Carol’ Casts ‘Game of Thrones’ Actor in Leading Role

Tony Award winner and international screen star, Owen Teale will play the role of Ebenezer Scrooge in the triumphant return season of the smash-hit Old Vic production of Charles Dickens’ immortal classic A Christmas Carol, returning to the Comedy Theatre from 12 November.

RENT is coming to Australia in 2024!

Award-winning producer LPD Productions has announced the multi-Tony Award-winning rock musical, RENT, will embark on a national tour in 2024. The musical will commence in Brisbane in January 2024 followed by seasons in Melbourne, Newcastle, Perth and Canberra.

London Musicals Ranked (Plus A Show From Liverpool Too!)

I was recently in London and managed twelve musicals in eight days – and believe me, I would have seen more had I could (the lack of Monday matinee was frustrating). The additional purpose of my trip was to attend the Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool, and I managed to see a musical while I was there too.

I thought, considering many of these are currently still playing, that it would be fun to rank the musicals I saw from worst to best. Note, none were bad, but something has to come last.
